So sick of freaking war

I turned on the television

Flipped the channel to watch some CNN

For maybe bout an hour or more

All I could see was war

 

All the fighting in Washington

The gridlock, Obama and his healthcare plan

Chris Christie his vendetta and his traffic jam.

We are always caught in the crossfire

 

 

We’re  not your soldiers

We’re not your enemy

So why do you hurt us

When we didn’t do anything

You kill everyone that is in your way

And get what you want at the end of the day.

Violence is the only policy for you.

 

We aren’t pawns  for  you to play with

We’re so  tired  living in fear.

We’re so sick of freaking war.

 

A child’s future is bleak it seems

As you to see more shootings on MSNBC

All the bullies are on the killers minds

Depression is at all time high.

 

No one even wants to step outside

In fear of the bombings that will burn them alive.

All You countries that are  fighting wars

What the heck  are we dying for?

 

We’re  not your soldiers

We are not your enemy

So why do you hurt us

When we didn’t do anything

And get what you want at the end of the day.

So much  poverty

So much freakin hypocrisy

So much freaking corporate greed.

It never seems to end.

We’re traveling on a path of self destruction

Watching our own lives wilt away

From the pain

But we can change it all, We can start a revolution

Take back what’s ours

Show em who’s boss

Let’s live and hope for a new day.

So why did  you hurt us

We’ll reclaim the world that you took away

And get what we want at the end of the day.

Violence won’t be the policy anymore.
