So Many Goosebumps (4 AM) [song] - DOG DAYS ARE OVER

So much of me that the world cannot see,
I have to try to see it as beauty
For if every condensed thread of my being were to unwind to the world
Might I as well not exist? Questions to these answers may not unfurl...
So Many Goosebumps none of you might feel in my skin:

The rush of the shadows of the light, an ocean dived too deep in the breathy whispers of the night
A language I still yearn to find the words for

I’ll live my life, hope you can do the same
Death calls for Life, humming the tune of its song again and again
I’ll try to sing along and make out the words, you’ll do the same, no wrong

We’ll have two different melodies but together they’ll make a song
When we die we’ll become another note in the symphony,
We’ll be with the sun, the wind, the water, the ground in harmony.

So these bones will just have to do,
Carry us through all the joy and pain we’ll go through...

So much of you I won’t be able to see,
Yet I can still see your beauty
For I can see bits of your intertwined web, o-o-ooo...
But it’ll never be enough for my mind to replace you
So Many Goosebumps I won’t feel in your skin, doesn’t mean either of us lose or win:

The slow pulse of the light beneath darkness’s call, a universe that makes and destroys all
A place in the skies we still try to ground ourselves in

You’ll live your life, I hope I can do the same
Life calls for Death, humming the tune of its song again and again
You’ll try to sing along and make out the words, I’ll do the same, no wrong
We’ll have two different melodies but together they’ll make a song
When we die we’ll become another note in the symphony,
We are the sun, the wind, the water, the ground in harmony.

So these bones will just have to do,
Carry us through all the joy and pain we’ll go through...

When our skin cuts opens at its time,
Deathly beauty sinking right in through every cell,
May we have lived through every corner of our own heaven and hell

Before our skin bursts at its time,
Life taking over our body for us to pay it all back, happily
May we have never stopped ourselves from being the only people our flesh could let ourselves be:
You and me...

I’ll live my life, I hope you can do the same
Death calls for Life, humming the tune of its song again and again
I’ll try to sing along and make out the words, you’ll do the same, no wrong
We’ll have two different melodies but together they’ll make a song
When we die we’ll become another note in the symphony,
We’ll be with the sun, the wind, the water, the ground in harmony.

(Outro)
So these bones will just have to do,
Carry us through all the joy and pain we’ll go through...
So these bones will just have to do,
Carry us through all the joy and pain we’ll go through...
