smile to an unlikely soul

Your smile, so kind, ignited your eyes and invaded the hole in my chestSo that when I fumbled for my feet and searched beseechingly for direction My heart skipped in surprise and appreciationAnd your lips a stranger to her place,An alien to my mindAn invader of my kind,A wonderful stranger opening a new eye,So that in return for the corners of your mouth I am quite at a loss in the thoughtOf how one gesture can stay warming up for days thereafter.

Short and simple.

I totally need to work on that, but you did it fantastically.

This is what made me smile, So that when I fumbled for my feet and searched beseechingly for direction My heart skipped in surprise and appreciation.

It just kind of jumped out at me.
