Sleep

And now here comes the final step
On this path that we have walked
The path that we have walked with friends
Where we loved, and laughed, and talked
I would like to take a nap
For the journey has been long
And sleep in my final resting place
The place where i belong

My friends will keep on walking
Maybe slower than before
Because an old friend has decided
To go into sleeps everlasting door
The door we all go through
Some sooner than they should
It seems that I will be one of them
Though I thought I never would

"Don't go" they all will yell
But I still just want to go
Until I hear that one voice
That helps me to say no
The voice I can't explain
Tells me it's ok
He says that everything's alright
All I have to do is pray

I pray and pray and pray again
And found the voice was right
I was so happy cause then I saw
That everything WAS just right
And so now I live my life
Without ever thinking about sleep
I also figured out that day
That His love runs really deep
