Sleep

Location

When I wake at midnight,

Oh how I would desire for it to be you in my bed,

To ease my nightmares away.

Though all it is, is a pillow instead.

With musings of you in my head,

And my racing heart is slowed.

Oh how I want to hold you throughout the night,

Yet I cannot hold you right

Just yet.

Still do not worry sweetheart,

We will never be far apart,

So just sleep tight, and keep up your fight.

Because I will be by your side, in the morning...
