Slaveships

Travelling off the ship strong and as oneLocking up and holding tight was always doneNo break in these locks or lines took placeOr else punishment would soon be the caseThe Captain or head of the line lead them to victoryThe Anchor held the whole line never showing miseryFor later others would use this to show their power as a wholeGreek Organizations were now these lines goalsLine or ship names showed places in historyThe name “The Tragic 19” started this storySoon many other lines followed onThen pledges names in line went one by oneNicknames or line names were what they would sayTo signify the person importance in line one dayThese people gave power to something that once was scary and unrealNow we still use these to show strengthTravelling as a ship strong and as oneLocking up and holding tight will forever be done
