The sky was overcast,

the day the snow began to fall.

No storm will ever last,

much like the world's largest snowball.

The sky is so blue.

The sun is shining so,

It is a wonder I didn't think of you.

Now that there is no snow.

Now the sky is dark,

the moon shines so bright.

Remember when we were at the park?

Now I miss the light.

Now the sky is stormy.

The rain is falling hard.

You seem to be all around me.

Now's tie for a new card.

Now the sky is gray.

Right as the sun is to rise.

Remember when we first said hey?

Now the day the baby bird flies.

The day the wind blew,

Started out looking so fine.

Every blade of grass had some dew.

The air was sweet with pine.

But then the sky turned black.

The temperature dropped so far.

There's no turning back,

Just keep heading to your car.

The sky is settled now.

The stars like tiny shining suns.

I know, we all wish we knew how.

Just look at the Sky, Hon.
