Sixties Anger

Fri, 04/25/2014 - 11:35 -- houff97

How can you sit there and do nothing?

I ask myself.

I might as well get this all out of paper.

That must count for something, right?

The anger bubbling inside me says otherwise.

I want to punch someone in the face.

Namely all those smug white men

Who tortured and killed African Americans.

I would punch and kick and scream

For those of you who were hurt.

I would vote for your rights.

I cry for you, you brave Americans.

Tell me what I can do.
