Single Mistake

You hands untangle from mine

My corpse dangles down into a void

Leaving behind no trace or sign.

The darkness consumes me

Like a thick tar anchoring me down

I may never shine again with glee.

My single mistake

Setting off events in disarray

It stabbed in your back, like a snake.

Forgiveness is God’s will

I only ask, but shall not receive

My mind shall always be hurt by the drill.

This poem is about:
Me
