Silhouettes

Location

I stare at the hill outside of my window
The sun begins to set as my eyes are set on the hill

The contour of the hill begins fading away

My mind begtins to ponder at the sight of it

Just like the hill, my day is ending

But just like the hill and its shadow

A new day will begin tomorrow

Cherish and be pruoud of everyday

As we watch the sun set and rise every way

We shall not forget our allies who have fallen

For we must stand and live on their legacy

We fall each day

Wipe out sweat with our rag

But the hill continues to live on and it will forever have a beautiful silhouette around it's tips

And as it fades away in the distance

We wipe the blood off with our white flag

We surrender to you O Loyal sun

As this day as ended, but another has just begun
