Silent Struggles

Fight to know the righteous will of God
It's not our fault we dwell in concrete and not castles
It's our will and stupidity that makes us weak to mankind's
plans for ourselves
Our hate, envy and emotions put us in a rut of despair only to fight the emptiness of plain suites and rotted buildings of the past
We cry alone
Dying in the dark
While the light blinds us to believe we are our own saviour
But not the will of God
Clowns dazzle on the stage to entertain
Joy, peace and prosperity
While we suffer in mediocrity
Low self esteem
Low points
Will make wonder about the other side
The other side will shed the light
Don't blind us with the shine
But blind us with the truth
We shall awaken
As we fight no more
Struggle no more
Live in silence
Only peace will harvest a fruitful labor
A new day has begun
A new tear to cry
A new tear to cry of joy
Harvesting in the spring summer fall and winter
Bring forth the fight
We will love on sight
