she sat there

she sat there

looking through her set of windows

when the guy in dusted black came to rob

the house down stairs coward less

he pushed himself through the front door

ran upstairs to shatter the windows

or steal the light away and empty the rooms

rather hurt the innocence

he shot them from time to time.

a bullet that gave them their last shivers

and let them sink and freeze heartless

she chose the case to fight

let her be seen mistakenly in her own eyes

she lived a marathon racing her mind

to see the beauty of the mankind

nature bestowed upon her greediness

yet she held it breathless.
