But She is Loved

Look into her eyes,

What do you see?

An unfinished book, a lie to believe?

Growing up she was anonymous to her unknown father

No guide to escape the untold waters

Trapped in her whirlpool, she won't understand

why the ways of his love hurts more than his hands,

When he's intoxicated, does he remember her?

Staring her down, now a baby's coming in September,

She regrets for seeing her future in his eyes,

She's carrying his baby and his threatening lies

But she is loved.......
