No violence, no sadness, no discrepancies to detect

But then as time fades and life grows

The protagonist cowers as the antagonist shows

Shelter she seeks from the lonely, dark world

For into real life she was violently hurled

Though tired and terrified her heart beats on

Hopeful that one day her worries will be gone

Fast forward ten years and beauty is seen

As the protagonist prevails over evil so mean

She’s happy and glowing with her family so fair

Strong and determined, conflict beware
