Time after time, I told you "I love you",
And you promised you would never hurt me.
Your promise failed, but your love lasted too.
Forcing me to think we were meant to be.

You have apologized so frequently,
Reiterating your same behavior,
Yet I've forgave you benevolently.
Ceaselessly, I've treated you with favor.

Because of you, I have shed many tears.
We have laughed and joked together nonstop
And you've helped me face plenty of my fears.
You tell me you love me and my heart drops.

My heart mourns for you, which I can admit.
I gave you my heart, and you shattered it.
