Shattered glass.

Shattered glass isn’t always what it seems, it chips and cracks

It was once one full piece, nothing could ripped away

I see storms of furry waves of the crashing sea

Do you know what it’s like when your heart skips a beat?

They think she’s beautiful pure, they don’t really see

The girl isn’t safety glass held by a cracked seam

She wants you to know what she means

She cries and hides with a smile

The girl is perfection or so it seems

What if I told you she’s in disguise

Would you know she’s there?

Would you just listen for the broken girl?

The scream of shattered glass as she disappears
