Shadows

Ecclesiastes 11:3

If the clouds are full of rain, they will empty themselves on the earth,
and whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, the tree will lie wherever it falls.

Job 11:12

12 But an empty man will become wise,
when a wild donkey’s colt is born a human being.

Shadows

Place my person between you and the Son only to cast shadows

The further I walk from Him the more the shadow grows

Amazing as long as I see light even a reflection of a rainbow

I believe to be in His Presence ... deceived by self I know

If I know please don’t tell me because I don’t want to see

Choices that I make to leave ... always are my own

I expect Him to follow closely ignoring He’ll let me be

as I wander farther away drawing conclusions all alone

My life is full of guessing that I quickly appoint for certain

My hope is build on nothing less on the emptiness I adore

My heart is now enclosed by an impregnable curtain

with only one place to enter ... a small armored empty door
