The Shade of White

Dear the Color White,

You are so pure, so simple

So simple, and clean

You are painted upon the picketed fences of family homes, and cover the peaks of mountain tops

So simple, so pure: like a blank sheet of parchment

Untainted as my future wedding dress, and righteous as a string of pearls

You are so pious and clear,

So clear, and virgnial

You are the grace and beauty of a swan, and the soft petals of a innocent rose

So pious, so virginal

So simple, so clear

So clean, so pure

You white, are a blinding smile, fresh whipped cream, and clouds after rain.

Sincerely,

Natalia
