Senses

The soft tender touch of a lover,The hushed whispers from one to another. The beauty of a now stranger lingers in your mind,The faint smell of Lilac lets you unwind. The taste of your tears cascading down your cheek,Her gentle kisses leave you weak. Her gentle voice drowns you in honey,Her jokes make you laugh, even if not funny. Her perfume is that of a Lilac,Her taste, you long for, to come back. You long for her hands, for yours are alone,You miss her voice and all of its tones. You yearn to see her once again,You smell the Lilac, your tears flow like a fountain.Your tears taste of all your regret,She is gone now, and you never forget.
