The Senses

If I could fly;

fall and trust the clouds

to catch me.

To see throughout the stars

and understand their song.

Meet the moon,

explore her domain.

Trail my fingers

through the inky darkness.

Feel the ripples

I have made.

Close your eyes

to sense the current.

Fly true always

with the wind

Taste the richness of the sky

Play hide and seek

with the Sun.

Revel in the clouds

drink in their gifts.

Let it fill you

Completely.

Feel the wind through my feathers.

Smell the new

A bird’s eye view

The world laid out

Readable;

Yet indescribable

Hear the sound of forest

and sleep to the language

of the Wild
