The Self-righteous Animal

Where are you,
Who are you, to ask so many questions?
Defined, confined by your naive inflections,
Have you thought, contemplated
These notions you've created?
Locomotions put in motion by all that you've exaggerated.
Hurdling through space,
Have you lost your place in the story?
An epic lacking epoch, an allegory lacking glory.
Though humanity, in it's vanity, finds it's love all the same,
this planet wasn't Earth until we gave it a name.
