Self-imposed ...

Ecclesiastes 9:12

12 For man also does not know his time:
Like fish taken in a cruel net,
Like birds caught in a snare,
So the sons of men are snared in an evil time,
When it falls suddenly upon them.

Self-imposed

Give me room to breathe it feels like I am choking

Where did my freedom go in my uninterrupted fall?

What was pleasing me leads me now to my croaking

To keep me out of the “know” as I’m shattered after all

Who’ll pick up the pieces and who’ll put me back together?

Who’ll invest the time to get me back on my trembling feet?

It seems my heart is freezing and my feelings “ain’t no better”

What happened to my feeling fine instead of the feeling beat?

Caught in a net I placed by my self, no one else is to blame

Reaping what I sowed and that seems to never end

Destroying every bit “Oh well”, all to my own shame

All the weeds that I have hewed are piled up in my tent
