Self

Imperfections are universal

Yet everyone tries to hide behind a screen.

The journey to perfection

Is long, sad, and as lonely as I've ever seen.

Why do we try to fit in

When we know what we are doing is pointless

It only results in unhappiness

Less, less and less.

Don't hide your freckles, marks, or flaws

Someone loves the beauty and shape of your jaws.

Smile when you see yourself

Unique, flawed, and damaged

But still you.
