See You Again

Location

Since the day I saw your pale face,

Your eyes revealed the hope that burned inside you.

You knew the meaning of life already when you were eight and a half years old.

We both had IV's in our arms under our hospital gowns,

but you did not see what I saw.

You still saw the hope I couln't see.

You lost your hair and your strength but you still felt that there was a chace.

Your last days here on Earth,

You told me not to give up because I stil had a chance to see the greater things in life.

That day you passed on,

And now you're the reason I want to help the cause.

I wish I would have you later on

So I could be your Pediatric Oncologist.
