See All, Tell All

Bind souls in
Ribbons of luminescence,
Though many pupils are
Too dark to bare witness.
Blankets blind consciousness
When they cannot keep
The heart warm.
Suffocation is misheard ballads,
Truth becomes confusion
Like angels that bleed
From wingless shoulders.
Voids become paradise as
Gold becomes ash,
Perception in an eagle's gaze
Is the journey to salvation,
For predator and prey alike
Face their shadows
Upon circular doorsteps.
