Secluded Mountain 16
I stand atop this mountain, many souls in sight
I try to converse at the fountain, they vanish into the light
Crowded with loneliness and filled with mistrust
I begin to accept it now, empty with dust
Stranded in the desert, tempted with fruit
What could go wrong if it fell into my boot?
With luck a ghostly King swooped in and gifted strength
Surrounded by doubt and overcome with fear
I accepted his strength and temptations soon sank
I'm back on the mountain with a wonderful tone,
I look to my left and then to my right, alone on the mountain no one in sight
A happily secluded mountain all to my own.
