Where do I see myself … seldom in the mirror?

It seems my face is plastered … all over the news.

In characters getting caught … most of all defectors

the ones who had mastered … to despise the Jews.

Many in this country … are fitting in this mold.

Very often the people … who glitter in the limelight

In a search for a bounty … for their pots of gold

to be used as a staple … to fulfill their greed and might.

Without Christ all “Christians” … would be the same as they

but within Jesus flourishes … to suppress our hunger to sin.

The only great difference … is God’s principle in vessels of clay

which constantly nourishes … God’s righteousness within.
