Sea of Souls

I am walking through a sea.

Not of wind nor of waves,

but of souls,

True individuals with names.

Aren’t we all that will pass,

From this big empty rock mass?

In the end,

Just us, not one blade of grass.

We all push and we all shove,

To achieve the goals we love,

more than others,

Future neighbors up above.

So next time when walking,

My eyes and yours locking,

I will stop,

And will consider talking.

For anyone who’s alive,

Works hard and does strive.

You are unique,

Your story is worth the dive.

If we had such unity,

We ‘d be a community.

Not like strangers,

Missing the opportunity.

For what then could be better?

Talking and learning together.

Having it all,

Strength that would never fall.

My community
