Onto a Screenplay

Location

Twenty-one, gotta get things done

Life’s bitter and sweet, but it’s becoming a hum

Looking at tech -

World treks –

Seems all set

Need to get some focus

On my writing to show us

How to dream on TV.

Onto a screenplay

Waiting for that day

Where you say hey –

“I saw that in the theaters”

Movie brought me to near-tears

About to make it happen

Just need a little practice

A little time –

A little rhyme

And rhythm to the way luck goes

And opportunity

As anything rolls

Need an opportunity

To make it anywhere

You trying to get through to me?

Then tell me the truth

It’s not by colleges, networks, and fair booths

But what you get through the books

And real life, as it encapsulates

A way for you to view how to peoples relate

To other humans through their view

Every time you hit an interview

And as I sit down to write

I know this is what makes it right

Showing that human emotion

And capturing just right in motion

Every time I tap the computer

And I know my protagonist as the words moves her

I see my passion through the eyes

Of the average movie viewer.
