the scars of a woman tells it all

Location

i thank you tamara g. saliva-i was inspire this piece

the scars of a woman tells it all

the story of a young girl bewildered

lost in the arms of a stranger

she was born a woman never to become a child

a child that later on became damage goods

her scars, batters and bruises

spilled the ink of her blood

spelling words of confuse and misdirection of love

meaningless erotic in the bathtub

in a bathroom that was locked

the scars of a woman tells it all

a baby girl lost in search of that parent

that will truly teach her the meaning of love

a path darkened by would be fathers with thunderous fists

louder than sounds of thunderstorms

and belts waving in the air causing tidal waves

of impactful blows across the face

disfigure face like rocky, not the boxer

but the young man in the movie mask

beatings that gave life to the boxing ring

that was her home and her body was treated

like a middle weight contender

the scars on her hands provided a descriptive scornful words

which she charge dthe walls with angry fists

screaming from the top of her lungs

in her room

once left alone of unwelcomed kisses

filled with alcoholic frangrances

caressed in unwanted places

the scars of a woman tell it all

deeply rooted back to ancestry

where the cycle of violence wasn't broken

severely distraughted into her soul

for years and years

so easily reopened by the brutal memories

that live deep in her conscious state of mind

the scars of a woman tell it all
