Cheers

I wish I could see you

One last time,

Drive you around,

Show you my life,

Introduce you to my passions,

Impress you with my heart,

Sit down, talk,

Split a bottle of red wine.

Before I was invading,

We never used to hide

These feelings

now imprisoned inside

--Before it was complicated,

When we could just vibe.

Swallow your words, dear.

Close your heart to mine.

Open your eyes

To the outside;

Because I know we must

Leave our life behind.

So, cheers--

Here's to our goodbye.
