Satisfaction Will Be Mine

My mind races with my dreams.
What it is I seek is something
Worth more than a nine to five,
Worth more than a park to drive,
Worth more than a pay check in my hands,
For I will find my satisfaction.
And it will be mine.

The culture I've grown up in
Has taught me to take things slow
That red means STOP and green means GO.
Oh yes I know, but those red lights...
They only make run faster and my mind
races with my dreams.
For I will find my satisfaction.
And it will be mine.

I put my mind to the test.
My focus is at the cliff of the abyss.
I stare into it alone for I am no drone.
I jump into the abyss for it is where all dreams lie.
It is the place were I alone race faster.
Once I reach the bottom I will be free
For my satisfaction will be found.
And it will be mine.
