The sands of time has ran out for me.... But that's alright I'm prepared you see....For the life I had was wonderful to me......I started out in a large family...We didn't have much money .....In stead we had love you see...Growing up with love protections and affection...... Guided my life in the right direction...My childhood was perfect to me....The friendships that remain in my mind will last for eternity.....I've loved and lost along the way ...And for mistakes I made there always a price to pay..But that's alright you see..... For it made me grow into the man you see..And if you seen the places I have been ...You would understand......When I say I have no regrets my friend.....And would do it the same way again...For the beauty I've seen in my life.....Out weighs any kind strife....But the world has changed all around .....Stop and list you'll hear the sounds....Of the cries of children in the town....For the mothers and fathers they'll never again see.....For a childhood that was over before it ever begin....That's why I say the sands of time has ran out for me.....For I can no longer live in a world of insanity....And where I go you can not you must stay behind...For the end I'm talking about is not the body but the mind...For in there I control the hour glass you see...And when I turn it over the sand of time will begin all over for me..
