Sacrificial Love

Thou who weeps their tears to form a river of torment,

Art thou who know they can live through everything.

Thee who shook hands with the demons who lye dormant,

While sinister grins from above emit subtle rings.

With the one thy cannot ensure their safety and protect,

Is the chains holding thy back as the songbirds sing.

Thou who love moderately is concluded as a defect,

As the sky remains stirring avec nothing but a laugh.

Thy shoves onward promising their chastity yet neglect,

Of thyself and superstition takes over as a gaff.

Both who assure commitment as the stars double cross,

While supervision reins terror as they release a wrath.

-And time resumes passing as the young hearts cough,

Fighting off a fever while triumphing from a loss.
