We cannot forget 

where our roots come from

we have to remember that we did not come from 

ourselves

but from the dust

"started from the bottom now we're here"

is more than just a lyric in a song

no matter where you come from

you have always been from the bottom

working your way up is not easy

it''s not a cakewalk

some path that is easily traveled

but people take it anyway

why risk so much when all seems  h o p e l e s s

 

without the pain of the path

you would forget who you are

the path less taken is not only hard

but it makes you remember

it makes you see and who you are now and who you used to be

but your ancestors have

so as you start to walk down the winding road

you need to remember and believe
