On the road again
Flying down the South-East highway,
Saw some blue eyes facing my way.
Push my foot down lower, lower,
But my car seems to go slower.
To catch those blue eyes is my goal,
Yet to do so will take a toll.
Face my head up front I must,
All my instincts I will trust.
Saw a truck, and right I veer,
But instead I hit a deer.
Driving fast did take its toll,
To catch those eyes was my goal.
Now I lay there, my car sideways,
Flying down the South-East highway.
