Rivers of life

Thu, 12/18/2014 - 09:57 -- 07borie

People judge me how they see me

Sometimes I am a turtle taking life slow

I am who I am not who people want me to be

Though hurt I don't let my emotions show

I'm like a beaver trying to make it on my own

I watch the pretty, puffy clouds and the glowin, gleamin river flow

Though I was blamed, I haven't done anything wrong

Though hurt I don't let my emotions show

Like the deer, I leap with joy unaware of my surroundings

Splash, splash the river makes a calming sound

I am a wise bird not letting people beguile me

Nor let them get me down

As for me I know where I stand

You might not know, but I know who I am
