the rise of spring

Birds chirping out my window

Invokes a gentle awakening,

With bright pop of colors illuminating

As the sun unleashes tints of yellow

Beautiful flowers blossoming at the meadow,

Unleashing their feminine beauty as they are rising,

You can even taste the mist as it blows

And feel, tangy, fruits bursting while eating

As days grow longer and glow

And the bees are out to sting

The sweet scent of flowers as they flow

Is the best thing that comes from spring

Aside from the warmth that flows

And the happiness that grows
