Maya Angelou You will truly be missed

You are one of the best out of the best

When it comes to writing poetry,

So, I tried to write something for you,

I have been judged by doing so,

I have been shamed talked down

Even been called a plagiarizer for putting

Down some of your words in this poem,

So, I am sorry to all who reads,

This poem is for Maya Angelou out of Love

And deep respace.

Maya Angelou, they will write you
down in history;

next to all the other poets and poetess,

that has left their mark on all their readers hearts,

We all in life had our favors poems read

Yours was always in my head,
Your words are strong and true
With no bitter, twisted lies

You always stood on high,
Your name Maya Angelou,

A woman of true beauty that shine deep within

Others soul as your story has been told,
Your words had always been bold,

others may tread you in the very dirt
but still, like dust, you will rise
Your words will stand strong and always true,
Your Ink has been written in history
As well as your name

A woman of fam upon your stone,

A woman Poet of truth of heart
we all will miss you,

But we will never forget You
dust thou you are
to dust you will go
Pain is all gone and your memory

Will flow like a song,

While you sleep,

your words had been written

Your job is done,

So, sleep you beautiful Poetess

The day is done and the night is young
This poet is gone home.
