Right One, Wrong Time

I only feel alive when the day is devoured by the night.

The stars bouncing from from my eyes,

All over the deep dark skies.

I feel you next to my heart but you're cold.

I'd warm you up but you're not used to my touch.

I'd frighten you. I'd scare you.

You don't know how to approach me so

You leave me.

Intrested in the way you confuse yourself.

Suicidal, the way you abuse yourself.

Put a heavy load on your back with no help.

Drowning I saw you. Whispering, help me.

You have me wondering if you really want my help.

Peaking between a branch at that green leaf

that was polite and gave that hungry catepillar

something to eat but it wasnt enough.

It crawled up the stem and disappeared in to my peripheal view.

Now I can focus on you.

I never did confront you.

You dont know me but you could.

Never spoke a word but I would.

I only feel alive when the day is devoured by the night.

Something isn't right.
