Reversal Poem

I am a hopeless mess

And I refuse to believe that

Someone understands you and what goes on in your life

I realize this may be a shock, but

Life can go as planned if you believe

Is a lie

Nobody really knows you

In 30 years, I will tell my children that

I have my priorities straight because

Pessimism

Is smarter than

Optimism

I'll tell you this:

Once upon a time

I felt loved

But this will not be true in my era

Love dies out

Experts tell me

Things don't always heal the way you want them to

I do not conclude that

You are never alone

In the future,

You will still be depressed

No longer can it be said that

Love wins

It will be evident that

Depression follows you even when you try to escape

It is foolish to pressum that

You are really loved
