Responsibility

Tue, 05/28/2019 - 20:28 -- aki

Playing, running, jumping

my little sister plays at the park

Cloudy, dark, cold

It's three hours after school has ended

I need to bring my sister back home

Crying, screaming, shouting

she's upset and everyone knows

Dragging, pulling, tugging

I feels the stares of surrounding onlookers

I drag my crying sister behind me.

Lonely, scared, frustrated

My parents aren't here with me

Annoyed, impatient, angry

I can't get my sister to cooperate.

I want to leave her and go home.

But she is my responsibility.
