Resolution

Dear Base,

I can see it.

Coming, slowly on the horizon,

wearing a dress drenched in rain but a smile dripping with love.

I can see her.

Coming, slowly on the horizon-

A deep and beautiful storm.

I won't stop until I catch her,

I won't stop until I breathe in the scent of her wild heart.

I won't stop until she hits me,

Full force,

and we merge our reckless souls into one.

And when we do, will you still be around to see it?

Love, Soprano
