Resilience

Inhale.

My hands shake, my head aches, my chest heaves.

Panic, fear, doubts are all I hear.

It’s a silent but seen demon that creeps, and steals and ruins.

It gave me more than pain- it taught me the brilliance that’s in the resilience I use

Every

Single

Day.

Anxiety doesn’t define me, I’m now “I’m on cloud nine” me.

One step at a time, I’m doing fine, on that negativity I’ll have to decline.

Exhale.

This poem is about:
Me
