Rescued
I have been sitting in this kennel
It seems like 100 years
Every person walking by is judgemental
You see I have a lot of fears

The last person who said they loved me
Hurt me and threw me away like trash
They must not have known how sad I'd be
Everything was taken from me in a flash

I need just one person to look at me and see
All the love I have to give
And the good dog that I can be
I just want a chance to live

Oh here comes someone new
She looks so nice
I'm only one of a few
Please roll the dice

Yay she wants to meet me today
She tells me she has felt so alone
So we take some time to play
Then she tells me she is going to take me home
