REMNANTS

All those pictures

that we took together and those

that I secretly took from you—

I kept them on my phone's gallery.

Some of them were prints

that when I looked at them so mad—

Smiles of those images

won't ever change.

Then comes the memories

that flashes to my head,

and remembers everything we did;

the days when we were so fine—

the melancholy silence followed.

The poems that I wrote for over a year,

it was all about you. It was you—

the subject of every piece; on every page.

My heart that longs for you

has been hiding so many emotions.

It has been hiding so many words,

and it hides things that you should've known.

But my heart was also afraid to lose you—

so it keeps on hiding things that are for you.

My heart. It found you long ago. But you couldn’t just see it.
