Remember Me

Fri, 09/26/2014 - 17:07 -- ecimase

My heart knows of God’s love

                                                 But do you know my story?

My body rejoices in the Lord

                                                   Then can you hear my name?

Who chosen a meek soul

                                                  Despite my meekness, I feel alone

All see that I am blessed.

                                                 But when will I achieve rest?

God has made right for me;

                                                  Though I only live in poverty

God's mercy lasts forever.

                                                 The again, my mercy follows through.

God made his power great

                                                  Even when my soul will never be seen

and has purged the proud;

                                                  In all my efforts to be humble

God has brought people together

                                                  Why am I alone?

and has lifted up the meek.

                                               My meekness has brought me humility

God has filled the hungry,

                                             Will you ever feed me?

Even when the rich give nothing

      But everything is all I ever give

God has aided those loyal and kind,

                                             I have nothing to return

in remembrance of God's mercy.

                                             Do you remember me?
