Remember Me

Location

Their eyes glare blankly at the bright square shaped box there in the room
Together we are, but so far apart
Once soft, warm and yellow
It blankets the room in a cold dust resembling the darkness of that coal mine we saw on TV
How can it change into something it should have never been
I long for the soft touch, the smell of clean laundry
The minty taste of your breathe brings me memories, every time
Hate and love all at once
The music brings me grief and joy
These memories, their too much
But everything I want
Do you remember as I do?...
Back to the cold dust room
I swoon, but catch
Yes, it's noticed
Turn, back to the bright square shaped box there in the room
Together we are, but so far apart
