I’m on my way to recovery 

I’m fixing my broken heart

I’m fixing my life

I’m on my way to recovery

I can see it 

I see the light at the end of the tunnel

My dreams are finally coming true 

I’ve worked hard for this recovery 

And I finally see it paying off

I’m happy that it’s paying off

Finally I have no more thoughts of worrying 

I have no more thoughts about Lizzy

I have no more dreams or nightmares about Lizzy

I can finally think about my future 

Instead of my past 

I can finally move on with my life

I’m on my way to recovery 

I can finally think about what will I do after high school

Instead of thinking about Lizzy 24/7

I can finally think about God if I wanted to

I can finally stop thinking about the devil and my former demons

I can finally stop looking over my shoulder

To make sure the grim reaper isn’t around the corner

I can finally stop thinking about my past

I’m recovering

I’m picking up the broken pieces of my heart

I’m picking up the missing puzzle pieces

I’m recovering

I’m happy

I’m no longer sad
