Reason to ...

Reason to ...

Ecclesiastes 5:12

12 The sleep of the laborer is pleasant—whether he eats little or much—
but the wealth of the rich will not allow him to sleep.

Pounding quietly in my head with teeth slightly hurting

Maybe a sinus infection is waiting at the door

Little to be said as with disaster flirting

Just full of imperfections and aging as before

“Nowhere” is the closest to my state of mind

It won’t be long before I am scattered everywhere

Waiting in the shadow a feeling of frustration

That’s just waiting around to conquer me right here

It used to be so easy sleeping near the sunset

Early to bed at night so I could sleep to the morning

Now I stay awake laying around searching for rest

As inactivity rules alright my ever-state of mourning
